About Chloe

My practice moves across installation, painting and performance. Starting from a chaotic context, I move through space: I superimpose, cut out, and reassemble fragments that seem incompatible and that chase each other in a balancing act. I am drawn to the imperfection, the error that becomes part of language. These signs become traces, physical memory and the pictorial gesture a form of writing. I’m building a visual alphabet based on disturbance, to fuel a sensorial experience.

Matericity is the only thing holding us back in the real world, reminding us that we are just pulsating body, and living flesh. From this dynamic movement that generates answers, questions also arise that I don’t know the answers to, so I confidently venture in this certain uncertainty.
